Not at all. Flexibility is something yoga builds over time, not something you need to begin. Every class at Shelly's Cove offers easier and harder versions of each pose, and complete beginners are welcome. Your only job is to breathe and move a little. Yoga classes begin in 2027 when the studio is fully open, so sign up to be first to know when they start.
Yourself, comfortable clothes you can move in, and water. Mats and props are available at the studio, so you do not need to buy anything. For the morning hot class, bring a little extra water and a small towel.
Yoga classes will be twenty dollars each, with no contracts or monthly plans. You will simply pay for the class you want, whenever it fits your life. Classes begin in 2027. In the meantime, massage therapy and Reiki are available to book now.
You do not have to decide alone. Shelly offers Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, cupping, Gua Sha, aromatherapy, and pregnancy massage, and every session starts with a short chat about what your body needs. From there she tailors the massage to you. One-hour sessions are seventy five dollars, and ninety minute sessions are ninety.
Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing. You rest fully clothed on a treatment table while Shelly places her hands lightly on or just above your body. There is nothing you need to do or believe. Most people simply feel deeply relaxed. Sessions are one hour and fifty dollars.
Very much so. Movement, breath, and bodywork are some of the most reliable ways to ease everyday stress and tension. Many clients combine a class with a massage or Reiki session for exactly that reason. For ongoing anxiety or mental health concerns, these practices work best alongside, not instead of, care from a doctor or counselor.
Yes. Shelly is trained in pregnancy massage, with positioning and pressure adapted safely for every stage. Growing a human is hard work, and moms to be deserve care more than anyone. If you are unsure whether massage is right for you at this point in your pregnancy, just reach out and Shelly will talk it through with you.
Shelly's Cove is at 106 S. Main St in Aztec, New Mexico, an easy drive from Farmington and anywhere in the Four Corners.
Check the class schedule to see weekly times, or book a massage or Reiki session directly. You can also call 505.643.2776 with any questions.
Massage and Reiki appointments are paid when you book, with a card kept securely on file. If you need to cancel, Shelly asks for at least 24 hours notice, and you will get your money back with no hard feelings. If something comes up inside that 24 hour window, your payment is not refunded, but you are welcome to reschedule to another available time instead. Just call or message as soon as you can. Cancellation details for yoga classes will be shared when classes begin in 2027.
Yes, one more thing that surprises people. Shelly is an ordained minister and officiates weddings. If you are planning a ceremony in the Four Corners and want someone warm and grounded to lead it, reach out through the contact page for details.
